I am a Registered Assistant at Casey Financial Services, where I joined the team in October 2024. With over 27 years of experience in the financial services industry, I've had the opportunity to work with several esteemed organizations, including Ameriprise Financial Services, Prudential Securities, Burns and Wilcox, State Farm, and Allina Health. My journey in finance has been varied, interesting and rewarding, which allows me to bring a wealth of experience to my current role.
At Casey Financial Services, my primary responsibilities include handling new account paperwork, ensuring compliance requirements are met, conducting client check-ins, creating investment proposals, and providing general service to our clients. I am motivated by knowing that I am helping clients work toward and achieve their goals while solving any problems that arise. Working with my coworkers to achieve a common goal is something I truly enjoy, and I believe the greatest value I can provide is by engaging with and genuinely caring about who clients are as people.
I hold several designations and certifications, including the Series 7 and 63 securities licenses obtained in 2001, Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor designation in 2006, MN Life and Health Insurance license from 1999, and I became a Minnesota Notary Public in 2015. My educational journey began at Bemidji Senior High School and continued at Bemidji State University, laying the foundation for my career.
Born in the Twin Cities, I lived in Bemidji, MN from early childhood through college, and I currently reside in Shakopee, MN. Since moving to Shakopee in 2006, I've watched the community grow exponentially. I share my home with my best friend and our two rescue cats, Onyx and Scaredy. Outside of the office, I volunteer every summer with the Appalachia Service Project, where we help make homes warmer, safer, and drier. This relational ministry with construction on the side is hard work, but incredibly rewarding, especially when engaging with the high school youth who participate in the trip. When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with friends, going to dinner and shows, listening to music and karaoke, watching mystery and crime shows (both real and fictional), and relaxing outdoors on my deck.
